Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Margo Hanson in the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). The role she played before was that of the Lebanese American teenager Jasira Maoun (13 years old) which is the protagonist of an unsettling life within the aftermath of when the U.S. invading Iraq during the Gulf War, in Alan Ball's film "Towelhead" was a huge success and earned her the respect of. The film was later chosen in 2007 to be one of the 'Variety 10 Actors to Watch'. She played another powerful character, Taslima Jahangir, in the 2009 crime thriller film 'Crossing Over', for which she received a nomination for the 'Independent Spirit Award in the category of 'Best Female Leading category.
