Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002, and has been aired for up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina started her career at the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents and the budget. In the beginning, she was enthralled by the intellectual challenge of her job, but quickly began to lose interest. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. Before selling the business the store, she worked for more than 18 years building it to a highly successful store. In the following years, numerous books were released and she also wrote magazine columns. The Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. Also, Ina sells products ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and tools. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has never gone to a cooking academy and has never worked in a kitchen. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her easy cooking style are well known. Some of her best known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
